2009 KTM 300 XC
@MUDHWY - will she ever look this clean again . Beautiful bike. When does the farkling begin?
Probably, seeing that I am one of the most anal-retentive people on the planet! LOL
Farkling to commence shortly my friend!
A little September trip I took up to Jasper via the Icefields Parkway to catch the fall colors a year ago...
And the new acquisition (no adventure shots yet...)
Really liked the 500 and 750 Interceptors when they arrived in the early 80's and still prefer their look over the 20-years-later version.
That is beautiful.
I photographed my Tiger 1050i in my workspace (having first shovelled all the clutter out) after doing some work on it: New Touratech luggage, footpegs, auxilliary lights, Puig windscreen, ProTaper bars and risers, K&N Air filter (after opening up the breather inlets) and paint at a local custom shop (Wheels and bodywork).
I also photographed my 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 while I had the camera set up...
When I first encountered Luanne, it was love at first sight. One of those times when a friend who knows you says, "Hey I think I've found the girl for you" and he turns out to be right.
We've been together for close to 4 years now and I still love her just as much now as I did then. We've done a lot together over that time and made sacrifices for one another.
Luanne was not a big traveller, but I am. Such was our relationship that she made adjustments to accompany me on trips to Alaska, the States, and we have other trips planned. While I know she isn't built to travel I love that she does it anyhow.
Unfortunately we just received some shocking news the other day, that Luanne is sterile. There will be no progeny, no one to carry on for us as we travel down lifes highway together.
This doesn't change how I feel about her one bit. I still look at her and I see beauty, I still get excited when I'm near her, and above all I still see us being together for a long time. I won't forsake her. I will make this journey with her until the end because she's "my gal".
Gentlemen, I give you Luanne;
PS- We might still adopt, maybe a Vstrom or a Tiger, maybe a BMW, who knows?
RIP Victory. All hail Indian.
^^ The Triumph and the RE....*drool*
Thanks for posting!
Well, here is some of my bike:
That's a beautiful area and photos. Post some in the Day Trippin forum so we can keep up with your riding. Good looking bikes too. In 1983 amid much hoopla, Honda shipped the first Interceptors to just 50 dealers that qualified with previous bike sales and the required service credentials. They were all red, white, and blue. I purchased one of these and rode it for years. Great motorcycle and good memories. Glad to see you with one in good condition.
