Hi Mud, yes I traded the SA for the Wing, still have my 500EXC for dual sporting. We are really enjoying the new Wing, it's awesome for 2up touring, mama is very happy on the back, she didn't care for the comfort on the back of the SA. I just got back from riding the Wing down to Vegas from Portland and back, 3k miles in 5 days on some great roads, totally comfy and wish I could keep going but have to got back to work. :thumb:thumb

The gen 1 Valkyries are the best cruiser ever made, IMO. A friend of mine had the standard one and the dresser. I loved the standard one. That motor is so smooth and torquey and it is very comfortable.

Not much available space on our motorcycles so wanting my safety kit and my toolkit somewhere on the motorcycle I've moved the headlight so that I could put the two kits in a easy to get to place you know how research and development goes well I thought I had enough room to add a couple of drinking bottles but what happened when I went off roading those bottles destroyed the headlight bulb also the two bottles of liquid is too much weight up their, the two bottles of liquid added too much wait up there for hill climbing so what I did was replace the 4-H bulb with an LED 4-H bulb and so far things are working the way one would think it would work only the LED bulb does not stay put so that's another issue I have to deal with .

My new-to-me '96 R1100GS. 27,500 miles. Needs new tires (the ones on it are 10 years old), some maintenance, and a good cleaning. I'm smitten! Glad to have it at home, with space in the garage for it.
