"Hey Flux, sweet looking new ride.:thumb Hope you have that trunk on tight or you are going to shake it off if you ride with me.:evil If I had one though it would have to be set up like MAX KOOLS. That thing is tight baby.:tb Anyway let me know when you want to get it dirty.:ear"

NO CRAP! If I ride with you, I think I'll leave the bag at home! Looking into tagging the EXC though!!!

Cascade, I clicked that link of yours for the bash plate, but couldn't find it. Was it a custom job?

Can't wait to see that aux tank and storage container. Keep us posted!

Here's my next entry (next to my buddy's Duc Super Sport 800 (for sale BTW!)) at a picture taking area off of Hwy 136 on the way to Ellijay.

I'm in the middle of doing just that (and TT suspesion and Techlusion and a few other things). I'll let you know how the ABS removal goes. I'll post pics too, when I'm done.

Flag, I like that black engine guard. Looks like the BMW one...did you get it anodized or something?

The guard was part of the "Police Package". It had mounts for the siren.

We replaced the police lights with PIAA lights
    [IMG]

The dealer kept the radio rack on the rear, it had lights too. It was a very cool bike and served us well. The wife put 12K on it in 12 months. We sold it and it resides in Tucson now.

P.S. All brackets and mounts are from BMW.

Nice! Those mounts would make a nice place to tuck in some more lights, if you hadn't put them up top already that is.

Never seen a F650GS police bike. Very cool. I have said for years that the cops ought to ride something dual-sporty like this. That way, people wouldn't escape (never mind that if the crook went over 90mph he would get away pretty easily, but STILL!).

It was a demo for 200 miles with the University of Arizona PD. They said it was too small. Stupid fat cops. It would have been a perfect campus police unit.

My 2005 GS in touring mode. Yes, I have XM and I love it. GPS next.
Here's the Gypsy Moth doing a little dirty work, Gypsum Hills, Kansas.

I didn't think the original, orange seat was comfortable, so I'm running the thicker, softer Dakar seat. Other mods include TT fairing guard,TT LED tailight, TT stainless steel pegs, Wunderlich windshield, BMW handguards w/TT add-ons, re-geared rear sprocket to 44 teeth (gives 80 mph at 5k rpm), K&N filter, Engine Ice coolant, Kuryakyn throttle paddle, BMW luggage and heated grips. Recently installed the Staintune muffler:

Here's mine in camo. I've made it so it blends in with the rest of the junk in my garage.

I had a '98 that looked almost exactly like that. Damn, I wish I'd never sold that bike. Here's a picture.

Sscratch man, your pictures never cease to amaze me!

How do you guys like those low front fenders on the GS? Does it really cut down on dirt and such?
