My recent trip over Cinnamon Pass in the Colorado San Juan's. Some pretty steep and gnarly stuff for something as big as my GSA, I've run theses jeep trails many times before on my DR but the Beemer was a whole new experience. While I didn't break any speed records I didn't drop the bike either and came away from it with an even greater respect for the capabilities of my GSA.
Recent trip to Rockford, Illinois off-road park for some practice.
Exploring the forest, this old road doesn't seem to have been used for ages - really cool vibe with all the white flowers breaking up the lush green colours. Shame I only had my phone with me to take pictures!
Right, couldn't stand the look of that phone pic, so I took a round in Lightroom with it to try and bring out some of what it actually felt like there:
Rally Sport on a little used byway in Norfolk UK.

From a short trip in Croatia
Where in Croatia was this?
Island Pašman in Dalmatia.
I'd pick up the pace a tad. Use those big giros for stability.
I had to slow down, the hill was quite steep and there were hairpins after few hundred meters. Difficult to stop and go around one, if you get too fast. There were some mountain bikers and all went by foot. But, you may be right, faster pace would get me through, I suppose.
You've probably seen this photo in other threads but I'll share anyway... Paradise Divide Colorado near Crested Butte
I hope you continued to Schofield Pass
