Trying a dounut??
You should have seen all the ticked off Corolla owners waiting to get through while I had to take my side cases off!
Road Closed Bump
Other side of bump, yes that's an RT there, it couldn't be ridden over so we had to push it.
Tatoosh Island, Cape Flattery
Unlike the pics I was complaining about YOURS really IS off road. Just as the thread title indicates. The pic below is a road like many have posted here.
This ISN'T "off road"
It leads to here...
And I've driven my Corolla there many times and seen many passenger cars, and even busses there. It leads to the raft put-in on the Kings River. There is no particular challenge to riding this kind of road and it's embarrasing to see fellow GS owneers call this type of riding "off road".
EDIT; fuck off
nice pic! I was wondering where did you find the cool soft side bags for the bike, they seem to be better than the hard cases for short to medium trips, doesn't it?
Can anyone guess where this is?...It's in the Southeast...
I purchased them from Andy Strapz in Australia. They specialize in motorcycle accessories. The panniers are called Expedition Panniers and are made from quality thick canvas (will last a lifetime). They are fantastic, I decided to ditch my hard panniers for good.
http://www.andystrapz.com/expedition_panniers.htm Also Very cheap $170 (australian).
Here's another shot to give you a better view of panniers. I have a small home made rack to keep them away from the exhaust.
Thank you very much, they are sure the pinnacle of simplicity and practicality, law that I tend to live by and, that is why I like the GS :)
See you around
I have now gotten older and smarter!!!!!!
Well maybe not smarter!
Getting lost in Turkey
Today after a few wet days riding these short trails connecting patches of forest in the NL was kind of tricky. Got stuck more than once!
It's from Bozcaada/Turkiye
The love in off-road.
what the go with your rims?
It was too hot (over 100°F) to stop for pictures of the tough stuff on this recent ride but I did take shots on a couple water breaks.
I was really tired of sand after an hour of that.
Not as exotic as most of everyone else but a lot of fun for a first ride on my four day old GSA.Had a blast.
Spartanburg, SC (BMW Performance Center)
This thread is better than the front page...
A couple more...
Man... I want to go ride now. Is it morning yet?
