The bike feels a little heavier with it onbut doesnt really seem to affect the steering. Not sure if heavier is the best word- maybe more planted. Defintely a lot smoother ride with it, but now I'm kind of slouched forward because I dont have the wind holding me up.

Heat has been a non issue. Even with the fan running at a stop light in 95 deg temps it hasnt really bothered me. It is noticeable when stopped, but not uncomfortable and definitely not unberable. At speed he is non existant, although if your hands get cold you can warm them up on the valve covers. :deal

    Hey Wayne,

Love the stickers on the panniers of your 1100. I also have stickers on both panniers of my 1100 for all of the national parks and towns (Moab, Silverton) that I have visited (14 states and counting).

    Gives it character:lol3

I just picked up this ST two days ago. It's a 1996 with 51K miles and a pretty good list of farkles.

It will join my Aprilia Caponord in the garage....

If it bothers you, then it has accomplished it's primary task. :deal

"What," you ask, "is that task?"

Annoying BMW riders who are too arrogant to lower their noses enough to note that A) the colors are Honda colors, not BMW colors, and B) it says "HMW", not "BMW".

    MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

The yuk yuk is the red/white roundel appeared on crude BMW rip-off Communist era EMWs built in what became East Germany after 1945.

Honda owners that think it is cool don't know they were found on POS motorcycles some 50 - 60 years ago.

Just picked up a slightly used 2003 ABS with 9k miles and tons of Farkles. After owning 20 motorcycles including two PC800s and a 2001 ST1100, This baby screams quality. With exception of moving her around the garage, she handles like a sport bike but with little to no pretense. While Honda maybe boring to a fault in their offerings the quality built is over the top. What a beautiful machine. :clap
