    just a question :

how many of you are thinking to sell the HP2E for a R1200GS LC
or just buy this new product as an other bike ? :ear

Completely different animals (weapons?) IMHO and not comparable. I swopped my ADV for the HP2 and never looked back. The Hydrohead/LC does not excite me in the least - I do not even follow the threed on it anymore. I hate to admit it but quite frankly the new KTM Adv is more attractive to me. :huh

    +1

Now that BMW went water cooled, the GS doesn't have anything different than KTM or Triumph.

Wait...what? Not even on the same planet in my opinion. Would not trade my HP2 for 2 of those......

GSMarc, could you please tell us more about your front brake set up? And the machined lower mounts on the forks? Looks like a super sweet set up!

well, this HP2E is not mine.
Was prepared by Arcueil Motor in France (Paris) for the Dark Dog Moto Tour Rally
Lower mounts have been done locally (on only 2 bikes + 1 spare)

Hey guys, I know it's not in the flea market, but I am looking to add a HP2E as a garage mate to the Megamoto-
I have a 2007 GS Adventure to trade if anyone is interested in a long haul bike for the HP2 Enduro.
    Thanks!

That's what the sidestand mount on mine looked like too. For a permanent solution, Woody's Wheel Works of Colorado offers a stainless steel mounting block, which I'm quite happy with. I believe that BMW now offers a SS replacement as well.

I bought the BMW steel version, no issues anymore. Had it on for 2-3 seasons now.

Love the new bike but will never trade in the HP2. If they came out with a LC HP2 I would buy it, but still keep the HP2 I have now.

My HP2E will be buried with my cold dead body, nothing will ever compare IMHO.
