My '02 GS in the horse trailer being outfitted for Newfoundland and Labrador adventure '17 June.
looks messy. my ocd is triggered with al those wrenches everywhere
just bought this one 2002 19000 miles mint!
Actually, not all that messy…
19k miles. Wow. Like new I would imagine…
Traded this for my KLR. 2000 with 53k, two sets of panniers, tank bag, aerostitch tank bags. This is my first so looking forward to some smooth cruising.
Mandarin Yellow is the fastest!
Why are the panniers so high? Seems like that would be a little top heavy.
Bought my 2003 1150GSA new in Germany as a 'retirement' gift to myself as I ended my military service. This was my first motorcycle, and I racked up about 123k miles on her between '03 and '09. Put her into storage for a few years, and just brought her back to service in the past 2 months. Having owned 5 other assorted bikes since, and even though she is a fat heavy pyg, she is still my favorite by far.
Sweet bike and good on you sayin it like it is!
Scott, I don't know as this is the way it was when we traded. I've got them off for now and am using the aerostitch in the rear. We are still snowpacked here but I've gotten out for a couple short, cold rides! I'm loving it so far.
You need the panniers set up high so you don't get stuck it all that snow!
Picking this up tomorrow....It had a lovely trip around Australia with its previous owner..hence the pic
What's the chance you could send me an itunes audio of your exhaust system? Sounds like a great idea… tx
My new to me 01

Nice ride JCF, congrats with the buy.
Is that mud from splashing through puddles or did it lie down for a rest ? Must say, those tyres look pretty road bias for plugging through mud
