That shot had the sun at about 330° true, which would make it around 10:00 PM by the sun, or 11:00 PM Daylight Savings Time, so let's call it a sunset.
Impressive!, Excellent navigational skills & obvious knowledge of the area, I just went back & checked you are less than an hour off on the time even. I took lots of them on the way up the Dalton as well but I have to tell you none of mine had quite the lighting on the mountains that I have seen in yours Alcan. For someone who was raised in the north country such as myself, I must tell you that I have thoroughly your pics on here.
U8 - Congrats on the new edition . Cool to memorialize the event with a sunset photo and I can only guess that moment was a great opportunity for thanks and reflection.
