    Great bikes, though a tad on the heavy side. Mine has got 21K on the clock with no problems whatsoever.

    Hello ! Does anybody know what other clutch and front brake levers fit the XT660 ? There isn't a shop in Romania to have ANY on stock :2guns... and i really need a backup pair FAST... so.. if any of you know what levers from other bikes fit, please advise :)

    Noto - you might want to try the guys at offtheroad.de , they have pretty much everything and anything you could want for the XT660. They are based in germany, but will ship pretty much anywhere i think, and they do speak english.

    Good thread. It's interesting to see Turkey and Romania, especially. And those Denmark photos, it looks nice. (In summer!) But Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Austria, not much on advrider. ...?

    If this was sold in the USA there would be one in my garage. Far superior to the KLR in every way-except maybe price. I have ridden the KLR and don't have any desire to own one-too outdated and after riding and racing late model bikes it is like going back in time. -------Rethy

    2-1 exhaust
    tail tidy + lights + indicators
    power commander
    front fender
    bash plate
    tires are intermediate winter tires with 5 mm studs
    hid lights
    fatbar + 30 mm raising
    hand guards
    steel foot pegs
    gear lever
    14/48 + 530 chains
    rubber fork protection
    dog bones >> 30 mm higher than original

    fatbar is cheapest available: dice black bar, model oct 246. bought from allright.fi

    clamp is renthal 28,6 mm model (raising 15 mm) with universal fatbar raising kit (raising 15 mm). bought from local bike store in lappeenranta.

    hid is cheap set from ebay. ballast is behind radiator, left side fixed with cabel tie....electricity is from original light wires

    Just selling my GSA and these are on my shortlist for next bike. What they like covering long distance i.e cruising speed and comfort. Could you do a 600 mile day on one??
