    this site needs a "like " button . That way u can let the contributor know u appreciate what they have posted. Just a thought :) I know it sounds a bit like
    " Facebook" but it would be useful.

    Haha didnt take long for u funny buggers. I love this idea . So many times u see a great pic or a funny comment or some good advice or idea and I would like to say I "like" that simply witha 'click' on a like button.

    If a post doesn't deserve a "well done mate" or a "nice ride buddy!" or even a "I love your thinking bro'!", what does a Facebookish thingy would change?

    Are you so lazy that you can't properly converse with your pals on a forum using real words?

    I like the idea personally. While I really don't care for FB content, I do use other forums with a feature similar to what the OP mentions. It's just a simple button at the bottom of each post, and then as people use it, their names appear down there too. In fact, recently I've found myself looking for it here out of instinct even though I know it doesn't exist. Rather than quoting a whole post just to put "+1" after it, it would be nice to be able to give recognition to the poster, that you see his point of view. Especially when there may be a debate occurring. Sometimes it's nice to know that after you take the time to explain something in detail, that others may actually agree or at least appreciate your effort. And it kinda lets you know who may be similarly minded as yourself.

    Get with the program, its easy to click "like" .
    I am 52 and I wish people still wrote letters but they dont.....
