The bike rally was cool as was the auction.
Looks like I can play this game! Hopefully I do it correctly...
Thought this was really cool when I stumbled on it a few years ago. More info here:http://www.gendisasters.com/iowa/3589/seven-killed-liberator-bomber-falls,collides-other-plane-air,-falls-farm-near-hancock-thur
Here's the next tag. I moved southwest a little ways to get it closer to you cornhuskers. There's 1.2 miles of gravel to get to this site. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find out anything about it.
The first hint is that you may go by this if you're headed to the awesome Raleigh Road. Here's a pic from there - but it's not the tag.
Do we need a hint? How about Pease Rd. Definitely worth crossing the river
In the Loess Hills, on Pease Road south of Glenwood, Iowa - Wabonsi Overview
....and yes, I continued down Pease Road until it turned into Raleigh Road. Definitely worth the $1 toll (each way) to cross the Plattsmouth Bridge!
It's great to be back in the saddle again! Yee-Haww! I was laid low with a medical issue for about a month, but now feeling much better. It felt good to get out and ride today, even battling a strong south wind.
Here's a place that's been in operation since 1929, but the building pictured was upgraded recently. I guess time had taken a toll on the old building, so to speak.
Grab. Plattsmouth Toll Bridge.
New Tag. I thought this row of antique trucks was cool. While I was taking the picture I stood in front of this place where Jim and Jason offer so many unique services. Hint, it was close to the previous tag.
Back in the saddle?
Doc predicted end of October before I could ride again. Bone is "just about healed" and I'm way ahead of expectations in Physical Therapy. Not ready for any "spirited" riding yet.
In before the expiration date. J and J Auto, Plattsmouth, NE.
Time to get a new tag up; it's certainly a treat for whoever has the chance to get some seat time in during this fantastic fall weather.
Hopefully this works. Great day to be riding!
Here's the next one. Should be an easy one for any of you moto-heads in the area.
White Sands Raceway north of Ashland

I don't think you'll find a Companion in this Lancaster County community.
Anyone know how long White Sands has been closed? My kids went to school with the kids of the owner(?) way back when. We'd ride there some, but that was several years ago now.

Grab. Prairie Home .
The wind was making 1200lbs of rider and bike move all over the road. Fun
In the spirit of the season I found the Pumpkin patch on the way back east.
