In the spirit of the upcoming Veteran's Day observation, here's a new tag that fits within that theme.

This tag is located in a village of fewer than 250 residents. It was named for the original owner of the town site. A little late to the party for this neck of the woods, it wasn't platted until 1905, when the railroad was extended to that point. Officially, it was incorporated in 1906.

"That could be any one of a hundred villages!" I hear you exclaim. So, in the spirit of fairness, I'll provide another clue. Do you remember from my snag at the Punkin Patch, that I used the https://what3words.com/ locating engine to give an exact location using three common words? In the sentence below, there are three words that will lead you to the doorstep of this tag.

Together we improvised a splint to provide support for the ankle sprain of the injured individual.

    The tag photo:

It was pointed out by a knowledgeable individual that my sentence has over 500 three word combinations (and he wisely left out the articles, prepositions, and pronouns.)

I'll strike out one word from the sentence each day starting in November (and if I remember) to narrow the possibilities.

Keeping with the Veterans Day theme I stumbled across this Veterans Memorial Park this afternoon. The park had several amazing life size bronze statues. I am sure the park was big news when built in 2005, It was reported by the town's newspaper, ____ ____ Eagle. That paper has been in circulation since forming in 1897.

I like how they keep me smelling fresh all day - even after a long motorbike ride!

But seriously, what are Wild Card tags?

This is in the town of North Bend. Really impressive Veterans Memorial Park, and as Charlie stated above, with excellent statuary - especially impressive for a town this size.

In 1995, this town was a real drag. Around 4 or 5 miles of gravel/rock to get there, depending on which direction you approach from.

Think I have this figured out, but not sure if I can make the 3 hr round trip anytime soon due to other commitments. Maybe tomorrow - if I get the 3 hr round trip to the meat locker, and the hunting and killing of a Christmas tree finished in time. Cool tag, and great clue!

When I realized that no one had picked this up this weekend I DRAGGED myself up to Loma this afternoon. It was windy, I almost lost my boa. I would swear that movie title has changed. I remember it as To Wong Foo, Thanks for the Memories, Julie Newmar.

This building is in a town that has a name that is the same as a show about a middle child. The actor who played the kid's father became the notorious Heisenberg on another show. If you spent a lot of time in the 90s (like I did) at what I think is the game areas largest lake, you would have eaten a hamburger or Del Monico steak in a previous iteration of this building. No bonus or anything, but what was the name of the restaurant previously in this location?
