Trip preparation is going well, we are saving hard and our plan is coming together slowly.

Bit of a mish packing for NA arctic circle to equator then SA arctic circle with little space but I reckon we can make it work easy enough.

Lookin forward to meeting you guys that have given us help and ideas, also wonna flog some more info for must do and must see in Alaska while on an ADV bike budget of course ... nothing t o o spendie as we have along way to go.

Likewise Barb, Toddy has told us so much and we see what you do for bikers in your region too, we have a list of stuff that we would like to buy and if we can buy it through you would be great, will ping you an email with the list of stuff.

Too right, few toxic fantas will scare away the jet lag... game on!!

If you ride to Seward, which is a beautiful ride and only 2 - 2.5 hours from Anchorage, you can take a quick walk down the trail to the face of a glacier. there's additionally plenty of free camping in Seward area and along the way. This can additionally be done in one day if you are ambitious.

If you make it south to Homer, I offer free camping space, and possible use of guest shack (free if it is open)
You can see three glaciers from my front yard. Probably a moose calf or two around May.
Air compressor, oil change supplies, etc for your use.
And a fat stock of fluid refreshments....
Time gets closer, give me a call or PM.
    Cheers.

Most excellent guys :clap , we will certainly be having a good look around and appreciate your offer for camping space etc, we will do the bike run in and shake down etc, we have until D2D to play around including going to Prudhoe Bay (as you do) and as many other locations we can squeeze in, would like to get over and up to Inuvik too, can do that eitehr side of D2D depending on time.

Hopefully this will give us enough time to have good look around :freaky

Give me a hollar. If I can't help one of the other Airheads can. Reasonable places to stay too. Children are all grown, play with Neka at your own peril.

Might think about Prudohe to the Equater.

Look forward to seeing you both in Dawson City. Two of our group also coming to D2D , husband and wife, rode to Ushuaia last year on KLRs. You should get together with them and compare notes.
