    Regarding bike not spooling up; check the airbox for rodent nest, or other debris... ( yes, I know it's NEW, still, check it. )
    Next, remove 4 screws retaining carburetor float bowl, ascertain cleanliness, and check for free motion of float needle.
    check for kinked fuel line from petcock to carb, you may have pinched the line when changing fuel tank.
    Also, slight possibility that new O/S tank had a particle or two which is now restricting fuel flow...
    Thats my 3 guesses.

    Good 1 , I didn't go 4 my usual 6am ride but had a real ride 4 lunch, whats a ph card ?? Did u run bike with factory tank on it ?? I would suspect a bit of plastic in main jet. Humiditty here is so high today Im at the bar with a fan cooling me down , got a rechargeable head light for bike but can only get reflectors for rear , might hav to improvise .     Are you guys still stunk in Stanchorage?
    If your sandbagging takes up another week, why dont you join a bunch of HOMER-Roids on our annual Seward Invasion?
    D-Day is scheduled 19th May, O900 hours.
