Have you sat on the Vespa ET4?

If you are planning on doing any 2up scooting, you should look at the size of the ET4...

    Major price discrepancy, though.

I've been looking at both of these with the idea of upgrading from the little 50cc to a real commuter-scooter.

I did... that is the ride all others are to be judged against. However there are two issues that are a factor in my decison at the moment.

    1. Theft. (i'm convinced that this scoot will be stolen for parts or shipped overseas somewhere)

    2. Price / value compared to Vino.

My wife wants the Vespa. She has argued with me for over a year, I think i mentioned that to you when i was thinking about buying the Stellla from you.

:D it's all in good fun. Whatever I end up with will serve its purpose. That is to take me from my house to the tennis club or post office and have no problem in traffic, parking or fuel consumption. My Gs is way overkill to fire it up and ride about 3 miles to the club. The motor doesn't even fullly warm up by then. The scoot is the way to go. :D

No question the Vino has FAR more bang for the buck. You can find 'em used down here for $1500 to $2000 USD.

Used Vespa's are like hen's teeth.
    Few and far between.

But the Vino will get the job done, and is still much better looking than so many scoots these days.
