I picked up a Suzuki SX4 in the fall. Went out a few times yesterday and it was AMAZING. AWD for the win !

You can even get a lift kit and under body armor kit for it.

I wish it looked like this:

If anyone wants a GoPro Hero 2 for a really good price, listen up. We bought two, one from Future Shop, and the other from Best Buy, to make sure we got one, and both are now waiting for pickup at the Post Office, but we only want one.

This was offered as follows: Hero 2 Motorsports Edition with WiFi Backpack and Remote for $219 + HST, so $248 total. Shipping was free.

So for about $250, you get all that.

It's no problem to return this, but if anyone wants it, they can have it for that price.

    Happy New Years All!

I let a buddy in NS know by email, maybe he'll get back to you, named Mike.

Those wide tires just push the snow, narrow is good for the winter, like narrow front tires on the bike through sand and gravel.

I'm not really into shipping this. If I get a local who wants it, fine, but I may just go to FS or BB tomorrow (whichever has a shorter returns line) after I pick the two up from the Post Office.

The chest mount is my preferred choice, however, a windscreen taller than a few inches might get in the way.

You can adjust the straps to get the camera high on your chest, just under your chin, that's the best spot. I'm not a fan of mounting it on my helmet because I hate watching video in which the point-of-view turns with the rider's head...way too annoying. Also, a helmet mounted camera is vulnerable to tree branches. Another advantage is being able to check the camera operation and/or adjust settings: on you helmet it's a real pain in the ass, but on your chest it's very easy.

When it's on your chest, you get smooth video with an interesting perspective, and the camera is protected, even when you fly over the bars.

My only concern would be landing hard on the camera and having it break some bones etc. We got one for Xmas (the gopro chest mount thingy) and I want to use it while walking the dog (no helmet on!) but I'm not sure I'll strap the camera on my chest while riding. Maybe if I had a chest protector (do they make those? LIke the MotoGP guys use?)
