All our bikes are ready for Spring now. Just finished replacing the stator in Stephanie's F650GS today. Did my F800 chain and sprockets last week. Days are getting warmer, so working in the unheated shed is bearable.

Not taking them out while the roads are messy, though.

Very tempted to wake the bike from winter hibernation today but the amount of salt still on the roads put me off. Maybe tomorrow if we don't get the snow that is predicted.

edit - woke up to a snow storm this morning, balls.

    edit - still snowing, SOB!

Sadly there doesn't seem to be much interest in this from Dual-Sport riders. I know the snowmobilers, ATV'ers and 4x4 clubs are all over this, but then again they pay dues to keep trails open. Won't be much to "dual-sport" on if people do not wake up....but I guess that just goes to show most Canadians are an apathetic bunch.

If you want to do something, Email that letter to our new "Premier," and PM before they give the rest of the province away.

We used the my dad's method for dealing with the snow in our driveway when we got home, driving both cars home from Myers. Just bulldozed our way through. Gotta love front wheel drive with decent snow tires.

Living in the city I used to despise shoveling the damn driveway.
Now living in the country with a snowblower, it's all the same on the back.
No lifting except for a couple of pints when I am all done.
I feel for the shovelers with this crappy stuff.

Ohh and thanks for the rear rack Emmbeedee, and giving me a small unofficial tour of your stable.

I'm in the same boat with my 11 yr old daughter,

I got her on it at the end of last year, clutch and 5 speed...:huh She did very well, but I'm sure there is others that can teach better than myself... If I can't afford the courses, I guess it will be time in the saddle for her....:clap
