How wet was it up at the north end? I'm hoping we can go from Sharbot Lake to Calabogie this coming weekend. I hate water any deep than 6 " or longer than anout 10 feet!

The North end wasn't too bad but we hit the occasional mud patch that averaged about 30 feet long. There were a few of those but the rest was dry.

Went past Lavant to Lavant Station, this time, but you can get onto the K & P from Highway 7 at Sharbot Lake if you prefer, and go North.

Anyone here ordered from MX1Canada? Juames? Drif10?

We have two sets of tires coming from them, with "Free Shipping", but I'm not impressed with that particular option. The tires are coming via Greyhound and their tracking page shows nothing but the parcel pickup date. Nothing at all about where the parcel is or when to expect it.

    Hardly what I call impressive.

Need a horn. The OEM horn on the 690 didn't survive one particularly nasty mud bath and the cheap replacement is suffering from water ingestions, anyone have some suggestions on a) a more hardy and reliable horn and b) something that is a bit louder?

Thank you thumpididump. Embeedee, studioe6 take note...:D

I was looking at those, wondering where a good place to fit it might be. I think I have to move it away from being so exposed up front. Wonder if there is space up by the mask. Hmmm. More to follow.

Greyhound? That's a new one on me. Last I talked to them (about 6 weeks ago), they had just started to use UPS. Up until then, it had been either by post or Purolator.

Any of the 3, it took a week, and I had tracking. I'd call them, this don't sound right.

I've found them to be excellent to deal with, really invested in doing right by their customers.

It hasn't been a week yet so maybe I'm jumping the gun, but it is kind of strange for them to be using Greyhound. We are on the UPS route; that would have been a better choice.

Maybe next time, if there is a next time, I'll access them telephonically.

:lol3, fair enough, and your suggestion is probably a better horn than the OEM.

GPS City called today, pkg is in the mail (that was fast). Spent a few buck this week. New GPS, KLIM pants, billeted brake lever, shock bleeder valve, engine covers...geez I'd better sell some of my wife's shoes to make room for this stuff. :rofl

Ordered them (E-07 Dakar rear and E-10 front) April 23rd picked them up at Greyhound terminal in town today.
Greyhound link works just have to keep opening up the [+] symbol.
Ours we're probably on the same truck my truck said left Toronto to Ottawa I was on the way (Peterborough).
Not to bad in my opinion.
