I'm posting this up for a cool organized ride coming up next Sunday.

    starts in Lancaster.

this is a great pre-LAB2V ride to get all the cobwebs out of your bike and your body.
freshen up your Roll Chart skills.

I am not affiliated with the Lost Coyotes.

I have done there Dual Sport rides in the past and they never let me down.

bring your checkbook or cash. no pre-registering.

    GREAT ride today!!!

rode a lot of trails I'd never been on and now have interesting ways to piece together rides and all dirt travel towards Death Valley and Owens Valley.

I'll have pics and vids up soon.

thanks to Berolina for the fast shredding in the dez! :ricky

I rode it too, made a couple of navigational errors on section 2 and rode up back to back hillclimbs thinking "Holy shit this is difficult! :doh
Luckily my riding buds aren't quite as dumb as I am and we got it squared away after that. :D

The course was laid out excellently, the mileage on the roll chart was dead nuts and the ribbons were perfect. Any time I was wondering if I took a wrong turn, a ribbon would appear as if by magic. Excellent job. :thumb

I must say, I was both disappointed and disgusted by the amount of trash in the desert close to Lancaster. Building supplies, appliances, furniture, yard waste, and not one, not two, but three BOATS! :huh :ruskie

My compliments to the organizers. The course was almost idiot proof so I had no problem with navigation. Not to long, not short, just a fun great ride with perfect weather. Agree with Stu on the trash and boats. That is sad and a good way to get a nail in your tire. All in all had a great time.

Oh great, I landed in Barstow!
+1 on all the positive comments. If you think there is a lot of trash near Lancaster, wait till you see Barstow!

The crash sites were also a neat part of this ride:

..he's a swell guy. I bought his salvage GS. Lovely wife.
At that time he told me he wasn't doing dualsport anymore, just dirt bikes.
    I guess he's come back.
Loved that GS...it was red and dirty when I got it...
