What caliber is that thing? 12 guage?
Sorry guys, but this thread has become useless.
Collector's permit? You must be livin' in one a dem Facist states...
yep, truly useless now dirtrider...
Ah hell, let's make it a non-JoMomma gun thread (except Arch will kick our collective backsides )......
Insert sound track to Ghost Recon here (_____________)
Ned and Bart already got booted to JM earlier today.
It's just a lost tool box thread... it can take the hit.
did he not get the info he was looking for? i am getting tired of these folks not appreciating our hard work keeping their stoopid threads up at the top of the first page while the random other idiot who has the same problem finds that their is another nincompoop out there just like them!!!!
I do believe FHF is trying for a JM bootie... he may get the bootie though with that gratuitous nasty talk.
Ok back to the toolbox deal. I have seen some pictures on here somewhere that show a PVC toolbox. On my LC4 I have the aluminum sub frame and it does not have the tabs for the KTM toolbox.
I was thinking about a length of PVC with a couple end caps and two BIG ASS hose clamps. Then attaching it right to the sub frame where the tool box is supposed to go? I know I have seen pictures on here? Cant find em?
I've seen those too, but can't find 'em either. Go buy some PVC and get inventive...
And make it so the PVC tube can't rotate into the path of the tire.
This goes without saying, but your SX alloy subframe won't take the weight of our heavy cromo subs. I bet a SM geek would buy it, though.
This is how you fix it for $9. Go to a welding supply store and buy a stick electrode holder. This holder is for storing stick electrode for welding. They are tubular heavy plastic about 4 in. diameter and 14 inches long. They have a rubber ring seal with a nice spin off top. It is water proof and strong as a brick. It is great for tire irons because they are long and fit in nice. I connected mine to the charcoal canister bracket. Krylon fusion orange is nearly a perfect color match, or just add mud.
PM me for an email address and I will post it - and thanks for the tip!
I think someone over at ktmtalk.com made his toolbox from a coffee mug that had a screw-on lid he bought from Wal Mart for $5.
Ohh so NOW the thread goes and get all productive and shit.
dat's how it works: the peanut gallery keeps the thread high up on page one so the one or two folks with the info see the thread and post the gems.
I hot glued 15 tampon holders from Walgreens together and then zip-tied it to my swingarm...holds a bunch of little long, round shit...
