Bring the bike down and lets ride!
Let's see....he already knows where all the good roads and trails are. He knows where the water crossings are, and the alternate water crossings too. He knows where to find gas, lodging, and food.
And he only wants $20?
I'll be down next year. How's March?
Actually, the $20 is for the hiking trail
But yeah, i'm cheap, and you are correct. I know where the stuff is at!
I'll see you in March.
Whatever. I don't care. I'll buy your gas, I'll buy you lunch. Still a deal. Might bring friends.
Those DMAP signs are what the state gives hunters that are participating in the state deer management program. Everywhere you see a DMAP sign it's private land. Don't be surprised when you get run out of there at the least (charged with trespassing at the most) now that planting season is here.
From now on I'm putting you on my ignore list while I'm at work. Excellent reporting as usual. I really would like to make a trip down there to follow you around for a while. Thanks a lot for taking the time to explore and make the routes, I know it's a pain sometimes. You're close to the top of my "advriders to meet some day" list.
Well I'll be... You wanna meet lil ole me???
My brother is joining me wednesday to continue the trail.... I may be giving another tour tomorrow.... but I slipped out of my buddy's 07 Dodge 2500 4x4..... back hit the step.... I'm hurting a little bit.....
Big Swamp Pig. I'll give you a call in a little while.
Wasn't my day for riding... Speeding ticket, Scott got a flat, Hit and killed an old couple's dog. After all that, my heart wasn't in it. Some great riding, but still soured a bit.
Here's some keepers from the LOT today. Scott will follow with more and a beautiful video...
very interestnig project you're working on there. i don't usually explore much when i ride home, i'm there to visit my peeps in NOLA. but touring LA is on my List; i think it's pretty sad that i know my way around GA & NC better than i know my homestate. anyway, thanks for posting. maybe we'll meet on the road someday.
Edited To Remove Missing Pictures!
Keep it up.
1) When will you do a web site?
2) When are you and your brother doing the TAT?
Awesome pics- looks like a lot of fun. Though it's almost like cheating on that XR
I say we ban cameras from the trail, I never come out looking like i know what i'm doing
Like Adam said, with the pair of tickets we earned earlier that morning and seeing the dog die it just wasn't the best day all around. The riding was good but it was hard to get into it after all that happened.
And just when i thought it couldn't get any worse, KERPLUNK! right in the deepest, most watery section of red mud. Thanks Scott, thanks alot...
I hate you...
That bridge is awesome! :eek1 Love that muddy road too, I need to pack up my TW and head down there. Thanks for the updates, this is becoming one of my favorite threads.
Whats wrong with the XR? Come on down dude.
