I trust you Weave. Just as long as I can get a few back flips and triple lindys in without getting arrested.

What exit to get to your place?

This'll be a nice change. Red Dirt is the only unusual place I've been to over that direction.

I'll try to stir up a few others here in town.

I miss spoke- it's Red Bluff. MS's answer to the Grand Canyon.

Both problems could have been stopped years back with a few carefully placed hay bales.

Maybe we can meet at Lee Road Middle school, near the corner of Hwy 40 and Hwy 437,plenty of parking for those that trailer their bikes.

Get to your place for 9A. It's abit more than an hour for me to get over there, fuel up, then make tracks.

Well... mainly me... was stalling on idle and with slight throttle so I thought it was the IAC/Minimum air stop issue that is common with the bike and the CBR250R... so adjusted that... well turns out it was tight valves... so after adjusting that I realized that I had done something that I shouldn't have... when I adjusted the throttle stop is caused the TPS to go crazy... so after fine tuning the throttle stop to get it as close to stock as I could and resetting the TPS multiple times it runs better than stock... but every once in a while if you hit it from idle to WOT it will hesitate a bit... thinking that I will need to clear the erasable memory on the ECM and have it learn some more..

Heya folks. I have a mind to ride the Mississippi Hill Country Loop on my KLR at the end February. Probably the weekend of the 25th but maybe the weekend of 18th. I'm flexible right now about the dates. I bought Sam's GPS tracks and it looks something like this(ride from Mandeville on there too) ... [IMG]

It's about 850 miles round trip from my house in Mandeville. The loop itself is 500 miles and the rest is getting to and from the closest point of the loop (Madisonville, Mississippi) I think it could be done in 2 long 425 mile days... 175 highway miles (no interstate) to the loop and then 250 miles of the loop itself (mostly gravel it looks like) sleep in Batesville (hotel or camp nearby) and down the other half of the loop back to Madisonville Mississippi and on home.

Have any of you done this loop? Is 2 days too ambitious? Anybody interested in joining me? Lookin like 9 or 10 hours per day on the bike. Hmm. I've only ridden about 1000 miles total on the bike so I'm definitely new at this and I'm using this trip as a practice run/training for a run at the western half of the TAT this summer. Thanks for any advice.
