Well, hell, I saw your Tiger while I was walking around smoking a cigar. You walked past my red Tenere. Next time we will know. I plan on making the next few bike nights since daylight savings kills the crowd for the most part and I am in a slow spell at work.

Yes. It all depends on what the bikes certificate of origin says and you're counties policies.

So it is different by county? Seems it should be a state standard

It is but it seems some counties either don't know the rules or don't care.

Sometimes it's all about who you pull in the lottery. I've heard stories from my dad for decades about getting different bikes plated in Indiana. It's not as cut and dry as you'd think.

Finally got me a little dual sport and now need to find time to ride it.

What's the absolute closest place to downtown Louisville to go play a bit?

There’s a Louisville Dual Sport group on Facebook that I just joined. They seem to know a lot of areas around town to ride but I haven’t ridden with any of them yet. I just got my KTM put back together so will try to check out some of their spots soon.

The Hoosier Nat'l forest ride is in a couple weeks. Starts just up I65 in Taylorsville, IN on Sat and takes twisty little back roads both paved and gravel south to the Tell City area and a different track back Sunday. This is the 11th year it's been held, not to be missed.

Unfortunately I will have to miss this year...

    Just a little XT250.

I just wanted a simple, small, air cooled, street legal 250 with FI.

One of the many great October rides I’ll miss this year. But I’ll be in Hilton Head at my cousin’s wedding, so life could be worse.

Think I may try to hit bike night next Weds, you in? We need to trade CO notes and catch up.

I've tried to make a TN, NC, VI loop all month but first bike issues (fixed), then hurricane Nate, now having to fill in at work. Yeah, we can bench ride Wednesday...

I plan on next Wednesday also. Around 630 to 700 and staying to 9ish.

Riding this Saturday also. Leaves are turning and the forecast is nice.
