MT's home for wayward bikes continues to grow..........this beauty followed me home a few weeks ago. I've only ridden 80 miles on it so far (it sucks workin' for a livin') but I think it's gonna be a hoot..........not quite as much grin factor as the ol' FJR but pretty doggone close!

I got my December ride in today. Much better than working. I try for at least 1 ride a month through the short day season.
Sunday looks ride-able too. Then the long range forecast is fooking cold.

Yank that battery tender off and go riding boys......

Hope to get out both days this weekend. I’m unfortunately newly unemployed, so outside of looking for a new gig I’ll be taking advantage of riding any days above 40 degrees. Two wheel therapy always helps take your mind off of real life problems :ricky

That sux Jeremy. Let me know if you want to play either day. I will be heading out by 1:00 +/-. Was thinking of heading to Carrolton and making a southbound run down the Kentucky River.

I should be good to hit the road around 1pm. How were you planning on riding to Carrollton? Maybe meet at 71 and 55 around 130pm?

Had a nice ride chasing Jeremy's Ducati east on Hwy 42 to the Ohio River by Carrollton. Then we switched places and I got to see the Ducati from the front in my mirrors. Sweet bike.

The friggin deer are everywhere out there boys. We saw enough (3 different pairs) to keep me nervous. We rode down the west side of the Kentucky River on Hwy 389 to Hwy 421, then 421 to Frankfort and west home. No stops, we were on a mission to get back while we could still see the Bambis.

Mark, when I grow up I hope I am as responsible as you. I had chores to do today myself....Sunday I will do them.....I promise.

Fun ride for sure! That section of 421 north of Frankfort is one of my favorite stretches in the state, I’ve risk my license there more often than I’d like to admit. The last bit along the ridge on 389 flowed nicely too, hadn’t ridden that section before. The sun made the ride much more treacherous towards the end, especially knowing Bambie was out to get us. It made me want my dirt helmet so I could block the glare with a visor. Here’s a quick recap:

Scenic. Works great, I’ve got my Zumo 590LM for sale because I didn’t see anything extra I got out of it over the Scenic app.
