Ok so what is the adhesive to use? Also if I heat up the guards will they be more flexible when I try to install them?

    Unfortunately not.
Some had problems getting the adhesive to stick well, fuel seeping threw the tanks makes finding a good way to mount them problematic.
I am in business to offer outstanding lighting solutions and soon to be other ADV bike products, I can't have an adhesive issue ruin a name we worked hard on for 11 years to build.
We could do a redesign, but honestly the #s just are not there to justify that.

Ok I have a set of these and have tried several different adhesives. I tried a 3m liquid emblem adhesive and worked ok left side is still on. Right side I found a different adhesive and it seams to be holding well. Actually I'm impressed because the panel didn't fit flush on the tank when I mixed it up applied it and taped the panels on. when I pulled the tape off the carbon panel stayed curved to the contour of the tank.

Mine are still stuck on,couple wet winters, multiple low side's, dragging the bike on its side using them as skid plates. I used Dow Corning structural chalking to glue them on.
