    Cool! :clap

Neduro's thoughts about bike choice were very intriguing. Although he never planned to race for a position, he reported to be annoyed by riders weaker than him who passed him by on every straight bit of a stage, just because they sprung for the factory RR.

    Good choice.

Yup. That and the factory suspension I think set the RR apart from the privateer bikes.... Word on the forks is they are "alien" technology compared to standard WPs :lol3.

Pyn and I discussed this at great length. He's a better fast terrain rider than I am, and I know how much it would annoy him to be down on horsepower. I think he has the smarts to ride his own ride and not race for position... and being on the right machine will make the race less frustrating.

I've seen your enthusiasm and your ability, so really look forward to you giving it your best shot mate. I know you can do it.

You finish the Dakar and I'll finish that cold pint you'll be dreaming off out there.

I've committed to doing what I can financially to help so without wanting to be condescending to any other readers and well wishers, if you feel you can contribute a little (or a lot) don't just think about it, please do something and help Lyndon. He's sunk a fortune of his own into this project already. Don't think that any donation is too small, it all helps.

Alternatively if somebody has a couple of million pounds/dollars they want to get rid off, to hell with Pyn and the Dakar, just give it to me:D
