Oooh thanks i'm following the waypoints on the dakar website. I've got lyndon's twitter but not this one, I might get the hang of it by the end of the race!!!
How you doing?
I spoke to Pyn on the Friday before he set off and he said it was like $1000 to hire a photographer, so he said he wasn't going to bother until after the race. He said he'd do some Yorkshire wheeling and dealing with anyone who took any good shots.
I'm loving the one with the helicopter in the background over the dune
Welcome to ADVRider Anna-Marie
Yup, only one more member of Team Double Barrel Racing for us to get to Dakar....
Live timing is showing Pyn in 56th after WP7. Correct?
Any other updates?

Having a great day today eh Lyndon! Looking brilliant!!!
55th at +57:58!
What a great ride today! Very strong right to the finish.
Great ride, Lyndon!
Great to see the families of our ADV competitors again this year. Welcome!
Lyndon just got a mention on eurosport live. Nice finish today.
Strong and steady, great ride!.
Just to say thank you for all your help and support, and all the time you put in to follow his race. With a full time job, I don't really have time to take care of all the updates regarding Lyndon's progress, the website, facebook accounts and the support packages. I really really appreciate it and I would never have been able to deal with everything without your help. And I know Lyndon is feeling the same. Thank you soooo much.
He's doing a great job!
Just checking in from work, looks like a great stage today!
My guess, without having spoken to him, is that the terrain was tougher (and that agreed with him), he has the hang of navigation and the rest of the Rally habits, and the result just came together without necessarily indicating that he pushed harder or took more risk.
Can't wait for the next call-in!
