He's said over and over how great it is to work with you all; if I lived in EU, I'd be buying from Biker's Jersey (especially with no VAT!).

In fact, I have bought from you- my 690 needed a special suspension bolt you have to get from rally services, not available in the US (since the bike was never sold here) and y'all helped him get one for me.

Everyone, I am limited for time but just wanted to how great it was to have a quick catch up with this thread last night on the I-phone. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for keeping this alive and for all your words of encouragement and support. It's really appreciated and made me realise just how many great people I have behind me.

Right now it's bed time, longest day of the rally tomorrow.

    Thanks again, Pyn

First and foremost; congratulations on the top 9 finish yesterday Lyndon! :clap:clap:clap

Second; I can't even begin to explain how much value you have given this years Dakar to me personally. I don't pretend to speak for other ADV riders but I dare say you are the reason a number of us have been glued to our devices night and day, following the race just to see how our friend is doing in the most demanding race in the world!

Positive energy coming at you from Dallas Lyndon. Ride strong and safe:pynd:pynd:pynd

    Absolutely amazing!

Finally got around to ordering my support package. I was kicking myself I didn't find the Double Barrel Racing thread until it was too late to get a sweatshirt, figured I'd feel 10x as bad if I didn't get a Pyndon jacket. He's the main reason I have a 990 Adventure vs. a *gasp* BMW.

    Give 'em hell, Pyn! :pynd

Looks like Pyn took my advice to poke in and say Hi. :D

Here's his interview from the Rest day (just before he logged on here!) where he answers some of your questions. :beer

Not only have I been hooked on Dakar for the last several years but following Ned and now yourself have brought it alive. Not many races give you the chance to speak with someone while it's occurring and we appreciate you taking us for the ride !! :nod

Congratulations on your outstanding day and remarkable achievement. :clap I was commenting to my wife what it must feel like to put your signed copies of KTM gear by your offroad heroes on Ebay to fund your Dakar effort, then come in 9th place ahead of Cyril!! Keep up the great work Good luck and Godspeed.

Who would have thought a couple of years ago that a Dakar competitor could catch up on and post in his own thread from the race? :webers
