Great job! Another great race with a new competitor who thru determination, perseverance and a bit of luck, finished well up in the rankings. Top 10 on a stage even. Truly amazing.
Congrats on a job and race well done.

    Perfect.
Lyndon you did a great job.
And for all of us couch pilots you kept us involved.

For that we are truly thankful. :clap

For me, I have done what I could manage to support your effort and I am proud of you as I can be.
Thank you for providing me the opportunity to ride along.

Qt his community of ADV opened this world to me and my family. You, Ned, Nate Hilsamer, and others have amazed us with your dedication, skill and just plain down to earth goodness as people and damned cool folks..

    Thanks.
We are proud to know you, if only as part of this crazy ADV family.

    Thanks!:clap

    Well Done Lyndon,
Great job from start to finish on your 1st Dakar.
Fantastic support from your team and crew in South America. It was incredible to be able to follow you stage by stage and follow you through the highs and lows of being a Dakar racer,The high for me was your amazing save of the fork bottom to finish the stage and stay in the Dakar. That was proper Dakar.Congratulations to all your supporters around the world who will have enjoyed and shared the communal AdvRider delight at your success. Now I`m going to drink a toast to your health and to your future.
    Best Wishes Dave

    Toldlady, and Annamarie,

As you have seen, we are one large, diverse, and kinda dysfunctional family around here.

And now, you're part of it (whether you like it or not). :D

Just because Lyndon finished his race, doesn't mean that we wouldn't be happy to have you stay with us. Stay with us here on the board, or if you ever come to town, mi casa es su casa.

When I travel, I stay in hotels because I choose to, not out of need. We have people everywhere, and are always interested in seeing those friends we haven't met yet.

Few people start out in this niche, 'adventure riding'. Almost all of us come from different riding backgrounds. Mine was offroad racing, then road racing, then touring, then into this 'what's down that path' mode. So we are, for the most part, experienced riders, tend to be professionals in our fields, and folks that will do anything for a friend we haven't met yet, because...it's in our nature to do so.

Many diverse backgrounds here. I was a soldier for 27 years, now retired, living in Canada. We have plumbers and surgeons, lawyers and factory workers, and even let in engineers.

All this to say: You are welcome here, and it is hoped that we will hear from you again in the future. You are fambly (you can decide for yourself if you want to admit that or not).

    Cheers.

    Jim

Thank you so much, I know I speak on behalf of myself and mum when I say we truly have been made to feel at home here, we thank you all for your help and support. We are very much proud to be part of such an amazing fambly and our doors are also always open as some of you inmates already know. We may even get to meet a few more of you at Lyndons Dakar talks which are sure to follow and maybe unknowingly met some of you at the pre Dakar talk in Bradford.
