A little day trip with my brother while I was visiting my hometown:

Started in McAllister heading up North Meadow Creek Road

    Here's another shot at it..

My Guide (folks, to have this guy in a Helmet was a miracle!!) I mention ATGATT and he's like wha?... :scratch 30 years on various and sundry motor cycles.. he travels mostly between our ranch and town and back roads. Helmets are still optional in Montana... :huh

They don't call it BIG SKY for nothing. Took Warm Springs Creek Road to Sterling. This is looking North towards Harrison/Norris.

Passed through Norris up to Red Bluff and south on Bradley Creek Road --

I do believe by the blurry ground this an "on the fly" shot~!

Chugged up Norris Hill on my gutless wonder and flew down the other side (sometimes gravity can be your friend) into McAllister and took the SOUTH Meadow Creek Road to our intended Destination!

Up South Meadow Creek Road looking back into the valley... Damn I love this view!

There is an old mine located up there... looking into the history. My brother remembers it standing
but on our trip through we found out a snow fall brought it down about three years ago.

Ran into a couple of 4x4 cages going up and coming down the rock road.

As a nob rider, this was a heck of a challenge for me... However, I survived, gained a wealth of information and minimal bruising... I only had one:
    :muutt
But since my brother is not educated on the mandatory procedures of taking pictures of napping bikes none were to be had..... therefore, it didn't happen...

    Reached South Meadow Creek Lake..

Very nice pictures ! That looks like some great riding , wish work didn't get in the way . Have ridden across a lot of Montana , but never enough time to really ride the roads less traveled . That sunshine sure looks good from the wet side !

This location is the perfect spot to have a base camp and ride out from... 72 miles from the park, the gravelly, Virginia City, Many many mountain roads to explore... fantastic.... imho... but I know there are amazing other places to ride. I have a yen to visit all there is to visit where I am now, the inland northwest... Selkirk Mtns, Slate Peak.... More of Idaho... so many places to go so little time
