Is that Dean?
no. I didn't ask his name, but a quick search yields that the brewmaster is Chris
Head brewer and brewmaster get mixed up easily. Rippy (Chris) is the head brewer like you said originally. Dean is brewmaster unless they changed titles around recently.
Yanno, that is a lot of area to cover.
Heading to Boscobel/Fennimore this weekend.
In for the Asylum.
In other news for those that like things that go fast:
2013 Salt Assault fundraiser to get Motorcycle Performance's techs to the Flats next year.
Tomorrow night 11/28, 6-9pm, Quaker Steak & Lube
Firing up a bike or two at 8pm.
Quaker is just down the street from work for me. I have some things going on tomorrow but I might be able to swing by and take a look.
Well that was fun as heck. Too bad TimmmmmmyCC always has to show us up by actually riding to these things...even when it is almost December.
I was gonna say it is good to see someone manly enough to ride, but then I saw the picture
I was hoping to go, but the missus had to work till 6:30, then she gets home and plops in bed, cracks open her work computer and keeps chugging away until 11:30, so I get to drive the clan to and from various locations.
I did find out that Sprecher gigner ale tastes like absolute shit and no amount of lime n vodka can kill that awful taste.
there's only so much manliness you can manage on a scooter before it breaks. I have to tone it down to keep it running reliably.
Good to see you guys last night.
one of these i'll get to. and I hope to ride. just not a scooter. No offense T
Did I hear that you sold your DR and picked up another Dual Sport?
That's right, an inmate from Ohio traded straight up for a Yamaha TTR250.
I'm very happy with it. I'll probably have to get it registered in Michigan to get plates for it.
Did you get an Ohio title for it?
Yes, I have the Ohio street title. I'll wait until spring and then try to get my DR650 plates transferred to the TTR. If WI turns me down, then I guess it's time to take a road trip to MI.
Pretty soon we are going to need a bus to haul all the folks heading to MI for registration runs.
Sweet bike! Should be a blast on the tight stuff
Please forgive my ignorance, but what are the issues if you have an out of state title? I've heard that WI won't allow you to register a bike that doesn't already have a title (my dad tried with an old ATK someone gave him) but if you have a title...?
I have the Ohio street title that is registered in the previous owners name. I don't have a title for the bike with my name on it. Wis doesn't like off road bikes that are converted for dual sport use. I'm not sure on the reasoning or the exact details of the laws. I think that my TTR is much safer on the roads than most of the big twin choppers. The odd thing is that the TTR is sold as a dual sport in every country except USA where it is sold as off road / trail use only.
Basically if the bike does not have a federal emissions sticker, they will not register it. Some people still manage to sneak one through now and again, but I haven't had any luck with 2 bikes - one of which, my GasGas, came from the factory with all street legal equipment on it :huh
Once it is in your name in a different state, you may be able to bring the title to WI - I was able to do with with my ATK once I had a Utah plate in my name. But since then I've decided, fuck WI why bother. These bikes don't get ridden much so the chances of a cop hassling me are pretty slim.
