Does anyone have a GPS track for the Magruder Road from Darby, MT to Elk City, ID. I have Garmin Roads and Rec DVD but it does not show the roads in that area and since it is very rustic I can't make a track myself. Therefore, I really need some help, like a topo track etc.

    Thanks for looking!!!:thumb

    Does Magruder have another designation/name?

Hey Dan, thanks a lot the files were just what I was looking for. I see that you like Baja so if you ever go again let me know since I have done over 20+ years of riding down there.:thumb

I plan on using the Magruder route on my way back from doing the CDR. Thanks again!!!

What type of bike were you riding when you got these tracks?

We did them in 2008 as detour on the CDT. I was riding a KTM 950 Super Enduro and it was perfect.

I've only done 3 trips to Baja since April, 2008...not sure why I didn't go before:norton.

I went twice with the 525 and once with the 950, the 950 was amazing in the sand!

    Likewise on future Baja trips.

Just go there and ride it. You pretty much can't get off unless you leave the road. This is a really great ride. I found it on the way back from AK on it on a KLR in 2006. Last summer my buddy and I rode our BMW f800 GSs from east to west. LuckyTiger
