Governing to the lowest common denominator is always a bad idea. But hey, law makers gotta make laws. <roll eyes>

I've never had a problem with people making that choice. Don't think they're very smart but oh well, I have my moments.

edit: I'm with Mike! She can do whatever she wants. :deal

High Hope here, pondering the State-of-the-Universe. I hope all are well and planning adventures for spring. It looks like Recompence was great :clap. Its been too long! So, I am healed up as well as expected, with little use of my left leg. With a brace I can easily support myself and walk, however, which is a real blessing. Anyway...

I'm looking into the Honda NC700X automatic twin-clutch. Put it in drive and its auto, with two settings (econ and sport, I assume?) or you can ride it like a manual with a "paddle shifter" for the left hand. While a bit small for my, shall we say, portly figure, I fit it well and it seems very tossable in the showroom.

It'll be an impulse buy with no looking back. Special order, long wait for the automatics, apparently. Send words of encouragement and tell me how this isn't a terrible idea. Please. Before I do something rash. :lol3

Take care and I hope to see you all again soon!

I just so happen to sit on one of those yesterday. I think it's a great bike.

Love that storage compartment where the gas usually goes. It's huge!

I was told 73HP with good torque in the low to mid-range, which will get it to scoot along good. It sat well, was very neutral feeling. A great riding position.

Personally, not my thing because I have a horse power issue but I can see it being a very very useful and an enjoyable bike.

Edit; just found an article on the bike. HP numbers are more along the lines of high 40s.

If the alternative is not riding, then this sounds like a no brainer.
    Go for it. :evil
