I'm working on it buddy. Mah wife is gonna yell at me, but as someone once said - it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to forgive yourself for buying an SE. Or something like that.

That's true, but a black eye, and a few broken ribs in exchange for an SE may be worth it. :rofl

In truth, she has ok'd the purchase, bug told me the KLR has to go first. So, I am a "motivated" seller. Wanna buy a KLR? :clap

I spent my morning wrestling with a set of R&G heated grips from twisted Throttle...I ended up destroying one trying to get it on the bars. Called TT and explained everything. Well after a few pictures and phone calls they said throw all the R&G stuff in the trash and they are sending me out a set of Oxford grips today. Well 2 sets actually.

It is nice to see an on line company stand behind there products like these guys do:clap:clap

Good for you and them:clap I recently had one side of my factory grips quit working, and was starting to look at some other options. I will keep TT in mind.

On another note: I noticed you were selling your vstrom farkles. Anything left? I am specifically looking for a tank bag. Thanks

That would be a great idea, except for the fact that it conflicts with the wife's baby shower. However since there will be a bunch of us husbands with nothing better to do maybe we will take a drive:hmmmmm

anyone have any interest in a set of showa shocks out of a R1150GS?

I have a box of old R1150GS parts/manuals and a couple damaged parts from an R1200GS I'd like to get rid of, and I'm just down the road in Naples.

Would be a nice ride down 114 beside the lake if you don't mind a stranger showing up!

That's kinda the point. 2twisted has been gracious enough to host so that the rest of us can be social and swap/buy/sell goods. I don't think I am speaking out of turn when I suggest that you do just that. I can't be there - I'll be 400+- miles to the north and east of you guys - But I have met quite a few of the guys and gals here and can tell you that they are good people For SURE

IC may have just what you need, but the last time I was at 2Twisted's place he was talking about a Brandy-New (or nearly so) Magnetic Tank bag. Assuming that you really can't make it down/up/over.

On other fronts, I am sitting in my son's a nearly empty living room, borrowing the neighbors Wi-Fi trying to imagine how we are going to get the rest of his "Stuff" into the truck and trailer. Frack! I am certainly earning the Riding time that will come AFTER we unload all this stuff! Of all the traits that we could have picked up from me over the years Why oh freaking WHY, did he have to pick up Pack-Rat-ism?!?!?

    Sheesh! Is it Beer-o'clock yet?

    Ohhhh hell yeah!
