If I am not able to make this swap meet I will reach out and see what people have left over. Good luck with getting your son's stuff, stuffed into the trailer.

Christ I just shaved my legs for the occasion:wink:

Found an easy way to put new tires on the Tenere...load them up and take them to Woody's...much easier than spooning on the garage floor...

    Trying a Heidenau K60

Good looking tire. What's the size of that?

I looked it up, 17" 150. I see they make that in an 18" too. Maybe when I get back from Ontario I'll give it a try.

as with all tires there are lots of folks out there claiming 7500 miles plus on the big bike's. I have my doubts, hoping for 6,000. All reports seem to be that it makes a good 50/50 tire. Paired with a knobby up front it might make a good summer set of tires for exploring gravel and dirt.

The service manager from Woody's Yamaha called me today looking to find out where I got my tires. Maybe they are finally listening, carry what people want and you will get their business. If the price is right of course.

I personally think there is a lack of a dealer in the mid coast region of Maine that supplies/understands the needs of ADV and off road type riders..:deal

Kinda new to this forum... not to motorcycles. Did a cross country trip from ME to Coronado California and back. Was ended in Asheville NC by a drunk driver. Done plenty of street and my new goals will be to travel the country entirely off road, head down to Baja and hopefully into the tip of South America... but I need to start small, and this pipe dream is a 3 year in process goal. Just picked up a 2004 DR650 with 7k and a friend and forum rider suggested I hit this forum up. Curious about rides in the Fryeburg area. Really wanted to lurk and figure out everything on my own, so I found the Maine forum and started to read... one page, two, three... ya than I went straight to the end... 2337 pages :huh. I am sure local rides are covered in there but maybe someone who has covered all 2337 pages would be kind enough to direct me to the one Where these rides are posted?

    THANKS!!!:clap

If you're in Fryeburg, swing overta Whitehorse Gear in Center Conway NH. We can point you in a few directions. We haven't read all 2337 pages of the Maine thread but I bet we've read half of them. From riding all around here for a good long while we'd be glad to share some favorite routes.
