Looks pretty nice. I couldn't tell from the description in the app store... does it have voice turn-by-turn navigation?

I don't know about the turn-by-turn, I gave up on wanting that feature as it was just too much hassle when using the Sena for both intercom and music. All 3 features never wanted to play well together.

@scootertrog what if you create the route directly using the iphone: when you try to export the file, does safari ask you to "open with" Galileo Pro or it just tells you that can't export?

the red line always existed in mappite and it just visually connects waypoints and it is... well... useless other than visually connecting waypoints ;) When you export to a GPX file, the content of the file depends only on what you select in the menu (i.e. route, track or waypoint).

I don't use Safari or create a route on the iPhone.

Ok... if you can try pls. let me know if it works! i.e. directly create a route on the iphone and export the gpx: it should ask to open it with galileo pro or whatever you have that can handle gpx. Thanks!

Your GPX Export from within Safari on iOS is working now. But using Firefox on iOS does not bring up the "Download" page dialog. Instead, it opens your Garmin Connect dialog - see below.

@DRTBYK the dialog you see in firefox is the mappite one, not Garmin Connect. I guess Firefox in iOS just saved the GPX in the Download folder (could you check and confirm? I woudl be glad to know!), while Safari asks you where to save or if to open with an app, that's a browser preference you can change within the browser options.

I think you're most likely not very familiar with iOS. There is no "Download" folder in iOS. You, the developer, must recognize that it is a Mobile Browser and make the proper iOS Document Share API calls.

thanks for the feedback, you are right I'm not that expert about iOS - but that's what iOS Chrome does (and yes, folders exists behind the scene in iOS too). I checked more about iOS Firefox and it seems download is not supported yet: what I would need to understand is if I can catch this rather than showing the message in the screenshot above...

You are correct. My mistake, I thought surely I had downloaded from other Apps in Firefox.

I'm kinda GPS challenged and in need of help. I created a route and than to download it in GPX format to my Garmin Zumo 660 and it doesn't show up. I must have missed a step somewhere any help would be appreciated.

I don't have the 660, but I think it would be under Tools>custom routes.....
It's not where I expected to find it when I downloaded mine....

What folder did you put the GPX file in? Have you tested the GPX file in another Application to make sure it can be opened/read?

When I downloaded the GPX file I sent it to my garmin drive E, I will try to see if it will show up in my hard drive and try from that. I thought that it worked directly from the download to the GPS.

You must place your GPX file in the zumo660/Garmin/GPX folder.
