mapsend direct route

    I am thinking of updating my software, anyone using the new direct route for their magellan meridian?

    Yeah, I am! I'm in Europe though, but I find it excellent. It has some quirks with routing but on the whole I think for £100 it's a bit of a bargain especially as when I bought my Meridian there was no suggestion that autorouting would be possible.

    There are a couple of Yahoo user groups dedicated to the Meridian, full of useful information, although like this place the negative can seem to outweigh the positive!

    I'm using it with the Meridian Plat. and haven't had any real problems with it. It routes well enough but you can't specify what type of roads to use so it usually calculates the shortest route instead of the quickest. Thats my only gripe after about a year with it.
