damn....i could not keep up with this thread. sorry if i missed on anything.

to all those who left earlier and leaving, safe travel and enjoy the ride/drive to the dvnr2013. wish i can leave this soon.

take pics along the way. your adventure has begun....:ricky

those who missed my post regarding "i will bring a sat phone". please send me an email to advsprinter at gmail.com with your name, advhandle and phone #. share the # with your contact person at home to make them feel better that there's a means to get hold of you. they may use it for emergency at home or special cases.

also, if you're doing the south pass, hot springs ride, stop at the corner of saline valley rd/190 or at the father crowley vista, there's a strong signal (as posted by lost rider) and you may check your messages. the ride leaders can spare you 5 minutes for sure.

you put a lot of work on that. don't worry of the complications. it was me and ersin (more ersin than anyone else...hahaha) who messed up.....j/k

i thought that is a good one which we can also use during registration and while doing the roundabout at the campground.

pm them to me and we can certainly make then workable for everyone.

    thanks man.

thanks jim, and to all....please participate, we need your support.

let's leave the campground and the national park cleaner than the way we found them.

AS FAR AS CAMPGROUND ASSIGNMENT - PLEASE PM ERSIN (FYYFF).

he would gladly help everyone. it has been hectic for us, people bailing out, signing in, switching sites, etc.

if it doesn't get settled before you get there... please see jim (spafxer), and he will be happy to help.

Sounds good! I wasn't looking forward to riding up 395 (except for when you hit the turn off for Trona). I do have to add a warning - I'm on a xt250......If you want to rescind the invite because you want to go faster don't feel bad - I completely understand :lol3, but if you don't mind 65 mph max then it would be great to have some company.

I also have to get off periodically and pound my butt back into shape :lol3

Pop me a pm if this sounds ok

    Hi,

This thread always grows longer than seems possible so I'll add to its growth. Look forward to the upcoming 2013 Noobs DV Rally with 200 of my closest friends.

Secondly, I am also looking forward to seeing you FF's at Wednesday's Jimmy Lewis 1-day training. My friends Bob, Steve and David are also enrolled in the class. They also are FF's. :freaky

Getting close to cut off time...

I posted earlier about being willing to pick up DV Park Passes for anyone coming in on thursday or friday, since Nancy and I will be riding to the area Monday night and it's no problem stopping at the kiosk on our way to PVR on thursday. I'm already picking up a few for people.

This is targeted at folks who will be coming in from the west then going on a group ride the very next day and wont be able to get one easily. The rest of you FF's can pick one up yourself! :lol3

The passes are $10 and good for ONE motorcycle for 7 days. We will be in camp Thursday afternoon, spot #18, though we'll be going on the Lookout Sunset ride after we drop our bags and unpack.

If you'd like me to pick you up a pass you can paypal me the $10, please put your name, adv handle, bike, and campspot in the paypal message when sending. You'll need to come get your passes from me, I just want to know who's got one coming for my list.

Cutoff time is MONDAY, I will not be checking emails after Monday while riding out to DV...

    I need a favor.

I'm on the road on the way out there and my Garmin doesn't understand Panamint Springs. And the Latitude & Longitude listed on PSRs web page is in a weird format. I had to travel south into Texas to avoid the storms and I need to plot a course to the Resort.

Just type in Trona or Ridgecrest CA to get you started, from where you are Las Vegas would even do. lol

Here's the coordinates for PSR from Garmin Basecamp in different formats:

That's got it! 1274 miles down, 1682 to go. I just hope I'm finally out of the bloody rain. 500 miles of it today and it pretty well wore me out.
