What ain't the KLR PURDY enough
WASHINGTON CO. LEITER MILL RD.
I keep going east....
Hey you guys are using up all MY PA border spots!!
Only two tags today ??????
had to home by noon. Tree branches and a nap were waiting for me.
I saw at least 5 of them today till I found the one i was looking for.
I dunno. Those late 80's KLRs (Tengais too) are among my favorite bikes to look at.
It has been said that there is something wrong with me.
Now if it's an early 90's black 900ss with a white frame I'll take that over the KLR...
Nice roads, came down Jack's Mtn rd.
I'm not having any luck locating this tag for the map. Can one of you FFs give up the name of the road it's on or the co-ords?
Sunshine Trail Sabillasville, MD
39 43' 11.65" N
77 25' 50.81" W
Were you there before me???????????????
Of coarse he has, clearly it's his road.
Daz right bitches
It took me a while to find that tag location. I finally got if off some site that showed a bridge on SR 3009 then I backtracked it into Maryland.
Am I the only one (well me and Google Maps) who thinks this tag is actually located in Pennsylvania? Look at the bike in relation to the driveway and the driveway in relation to the dotted state line (that may or may not be accurate).
Not that I care though because that's a nice area to ride.
Yep, the bike looks like it was actually in PA.
Oh well...whatca gonna do......peckerheads...
Speaking of peckerheads, where the heck is Litespeed with the new tag? Is it gonna be a Virginia Welcome sign?
Out of curiousity since I've put a couple on the border, I looked a little more into what the border is. Google Maps and Earth draw the line at 39° 43' 11.6754" N along this road. Per Wikipedia: The border should be 39°43′20″ N and "In reality, the east-west Mason-Dixon line is not a true line in the geometric sense, but is instead a series of many adjoining lines, following a path between latitude 39°43′15″ N and 39°43′23″ N" By this, he'd be legal.
The thing that I've used on the PA/MD border tags was the change in pavement. Because now you're talking about somebody's budget and people not wanting to pay big money to build or maintain a road in another State. The change in pavement is still in front of the bike, which I would've watched for.
