Hey MB and 1point4, look guys, my wife and I will be in Adelaide around second week in October, relocating our fourbie there outta NSW, so we might be able to catch up for a Coopers or summit?
Most likely we will camp at that caravan park near the beach just a bit south of Glenelg (??)....I don't remember its name atm.
Anyway, I will pm MB just as soon as I have dates and locations.
Be good to catch up in your backyard!!!

Hi Jamie, look forward to seeing you both, if you don't like the beach, we have room for you both here. :thumb

Could even organize some local ADV (ers) for a leisurely ride down the Fleurieu Peninsula (DR provided) :webers .

1point4 would love to show you his farm. :deal , might go easy on the racing this time, though, hey? :D

Definitely a meal for sure :kbasa2 if you have time. :thumb

Thanks for the experience of playing in your New Zealand Adventure Riding playground :ricky

Ten days of sunshine out of 12 :jkam

4,200 kms ( 380 kms/day ) over 11 days of actual bike time over the most fantastic scenic mountain tracks, rain forest tracks, wood logging tracks and of course the smooth, fast, cambered rally roads :rayof and road racing bitumen :pynd connectors. Did I mention I liked NZ non touristy roads :wings

Not bad considering there were miles upon miles and thousands upon thousands of 25 - 35 kph gravel corners to negotiate. :nod

    To coin a phrase ........................................ " I'll be back " :thumb

    Thanks Mark, :thumb

Bit worried about Mick's Boy Wonder riding the TDM before the EU tour next year, though :fpalm

I think my sunshine average is quite high actual :D

UK/Scottish Tour July 2014 : 3 days rain in 21 days riding :clap

..... when the locals said it is normally wet.

NZ Tour : 2 days rain in 11 days riding :clap

..... when we were told by Aussie NZers it will be wet.

My mates like my rides :lol3

Some say the suns shines out of ............. :jack

Depending on when, and my commitments MB, I wouldn't mind going for a ride. Also, keep The Hollows in mind for an overnighter if it suits - might even be able to work in a Barossa wine tour. We could talk about Oaters all night.

Yes, Jamie seems to have dropped off the radar Oaters. Just trying to fill in my diary as various duties are building........ Tues/some of Wed and all of Friday gone. Maybe Kym being unavailable from 6th and 12th has thrown things into confusion. We'll see.

Hi Trev - I have sent Jamie a PM and called his NZ cell phone (unsuccessfully) - I suspect he must already be in Aus - hopefully he'll check in on ADV :)

Jamie has been in Oz for 8 days now and according to his last message should be in Adelaide in a day or two.

Don't know if he has internet access however

P.S. The texts I have received were from his NZ cellphone number

    Delete what I said yesterday.
Last night he was at Narrabri, which is the wrong way altogether. Looks like they're taking the scenic route and so i withdraw any predictions of arrival time in Adelaide.

Thanks Bass, I'll just wait until he contacts Masterbrewer and see what evolves. cheers

EDIT: That just fixed the rest of my week - my older grandson has developed expulsion from both ends and daughter needs help. I'll be up to my armpits in all sorts of crap for a couple of days. I hope that Jamie manages to get in touch with MB at some stage.

Ok all interested partys, sorry for my silence, really I have not been ignoring any of you!
Our wee trip went from bad to bloody awful in the blink of an eye really ( Narrabri was part of an unscheduled trip just into Qld to renew my licence, could not do it elsewhere or online!)- [ the licence thing is a War and Peace all by itself too!!], broken down van and then faulty trailer brakes....and then and then etc.
Spent Sat and Sun in Adelaide, all taken up with finding a Caravan dealer who might not rip us ragged selling our trailer on consignment for us, and finding and installing our Deli into secure storage, whew, just made the airport with about 15 minutes to spare Monday.
I am still left with 2 safety issues on the Deli, to be sorted I hope upon return I April....1 is a failed and seized in ABS wheel sensor and the other a clogged Cat. In unzud we would just kill the cat and chuck it....garages of repute(?) won't in Oz. So I am sentenced to yet more haemorrhaging of both $ and time next visit before anything interesting can be considered.
But with the benefit of more time in the planning, I plan to be able to have a get together with a few of you guys in the area then.
Big thanks for your interest guys, will try harder in April.
    Cheers, Jamie.
