Safe travels you guys! Looks like good weather for most of this week too.

Mmmm... beers you say? Check out Mike's brewery near Urenui on the way down the 'Naki. You should definitely plan on looping around to Okere Falls Store on Sunday as they have a good selection of Kiwi brews in the fridge. I might join you if I'm home in time, will be in touch.

We'll do a lamb roast for dinner Sunday night, you guys can bring dessert. Got the key for next door's sleepout so beds sorted for everybody.

    Cheers
    Clint

Two Kyms safely pointed south at Port Waikato after a morning in the delights of Aucklands lesser traveled routes, we managed to not get run over by a logging truck and no one ended up in a ditch, all in all, a great day!
If anyone has access to AA maps, Kym1 wants a set for the upper north island, the one I gave him only goes as far south as Raglan.

Hi Jamie - just picked up your message - thanks

Heading from Raglan to Young1's this evening where in discussion with Michael & Col well agree tomorrows route

I'd say it'd be safe to assume arrival in to Taumarunui via Opotiki Road no earlier than 3pm. I'll try to reach you from Young1's tonight by phone or PM on here for more specifics :)

thanks Iain for your generous help to the two Kyms - they enjoyed your company Sunday and yesterday - top job!

PS I went to buy i/2 dozen Monteiths Black so as to have a coupla coldies ready to greet these guys with only to meet them at the iSite here in Raglan looking for directions to the Back Packers. When I explained to MB what I was doing he looked bemused - and said 'that'd be for you right?' So we each ended up with 1/2 - Kym 1 (VB!!!!) Kym 2 Corona and moi Monteith's Black

Cheers Clint - awesome plan on your part - thanks - yip we'll cover the desert (may be a 'cheese board' since I'm not sure I'm up to making a Pav :) )

    thanks again Iain

Good one Trev! - we had a great evening togther 'shooting the breeze' here in Raglan over a few Beers and Fish n Chips

I hope PBee is reading this. Is this the first international meeting of three members of the esteemed Quorn Schnitzel Club? Just about a United Nations ride! Take care.

Oh dear, don't us that one/both of them scratched the hire bike!! I've noted the lack of communication back home from them - just thought they were having a good time. This will be good!! :lurk

Take a look at the tyre marks, that's a thousand foot drop just past the fence. :knary
