Is it at Jinjelic this year?
We could have a poll... no wait...that doesn’t work
I believe it would be Jingellic this year, usually the first weekend. I didn't go last year 'cos I don't like Delegate much.
Is was Delegate last year, so it should be Jingellic this year, there was some chatter about finding another destination along the Vic, NSW border and possibly mixing it up a bit.
Khancoban or Corryong or similar could work and you can plan a great ride to get to either, easily done in one day from either Sydney or Melbourne.
Khancoban is a hole Russ.
Last rally I attended at Geehi I struggled even to buy takeaway beer at Khancoban, and when I pointed out that the rally ran the same time every year and one would think they would have beer, I got a "so what", not a "geez, sorry, we could do better next time".
"Kancoban Is hole Russ"
You don't like Delegate either.
Faark me you are hard to please.
FFS. It's one night with mates carry in a six pack and a tin of tuna.
You are getting more grumpy by the day this retirement is not good for you Tom.
Jingellic sounds fine to me.
We could do Jindabyne, Woody can show us around and we could do a shed tour at BergDonks.
I've had another thought!!!!
The pub at Granya has some accommodation. Plus camping behind the pub and at the reserve across the road they can cater for about 50.
Great riding around there both road and dirt.
What do others think of that as an idea?
The bloke who owns the joint has a couple of Triumphs, good feller.
old pickled parrot has always been a bit weird
wouldnt lasted in the snowy hey days with that attitude
I want to hear Grumpy's opinion before I commit.
Geez, if you hold it in mid June I could make it !
Four of us are riding over for the Farina Rally, early June, then on to Townsville, the route is flexible, a detour for a catch up would be cool.
Or a little down the road, Tintaldra Pub has new owners (who get this are friendly and put on a great feed). They’re sorting out some council issues but should be ok for free camping behind pub soon. Also caravan park with cabins short walk away.
Tintaldra sounds good.
Is the meet open to new members? Or is it a requirement that we spend some time on the forum first so everyone can see they're not a (complete) wanker!
Don't worry too much about it, from what I've seen wankers are welcome irrespective of whether they are complete or need more work.
Not everyone here are complete wankers; Some are missing a few bits
Tintaldra seems good
