This is a spot in the mountains near Ft. St. John that I like to go to. It's close enough to where I work that I can go for a quick evening ride after work.
Columbia River Valley just north of Castlegar in BC's West Kootenays. That's the dam that turns the Columbia River into the Arrow Lakes.
edit: I've been corrected. The Arrow Lakes were a natural phenom, the dam merely raised them higher than they were originally. You can learn a lot around here.
