Meat was on the menu as N2Moto brought a new friend K who was packing a nice selection of Elk, Venison and Bison treats for her riding buddies of the day.

Headed out from the farm up towards the freshly watered soils (souls?).

Finally got a new camera (Canon G-15) and was really looking forward to a clinic from Brad21 who has also purchased the same unit and has a couple months to fine-tune his skills with this powerful little unit.

We head up towards the mountains and hope for chocolate.

Oops - look closely for the moment of impact of the XR and that pesky little Ponderosa.

New camera is working great! We head upwards and find the still saturated earth. B21 and I stage a shot for N2 so I can hopefully navigate through the menus and figure out this amazing new tool/weapon.

No animals were injured during this exercise.

Hey Brad, can Kurt’s righteous 350 do that? Yes, it can!

Found some cool trails through logged out hills. B21

I’ve been up here riding for the past couple days and wanted to see Mesopotamia which was loamy and fresh. Still practicing with the camera when B21 gets all sidewindy in a corner - glad I had a tree to hide behind!

    Try again please.

    One more time please?

    Perfect, Thx

Hotter than we thought and I’m trashed after a couple days of . . . pruning. We stop for a little lunch break (more meat stick) then B21 needs to wash off Kurt’s 350

    K has a go

    N2 re-routes . . .

. . . and chuckles with the folly!

Funny midget setting on the new camera.

We had a great day of trails up in the hills and decided to hit it again the next day too . . . more soon!

Kurt came over this morning for an early rip with Brad F. We rode everything up high, one direction. That trail is gonna become a classic once it's beat in a little more. Zero dust and about 30 miles of single track! :clap

Only took one shot as it was kinda raining. Tranny worked flawless? :huh :clap

What did you guy's think of the 350? Would you take it on a multi-day camp & ride or more suited for just single track blasting?

The 350 is awesome, but really shines in the higher revs. It feels lighter than my 200 xc-w and steers waaay better. Super fun.

Regarding your question: were I in the market for an almost $10k motorcycle I would need to ride the 500 before I plunked down my hard earned credit.:D I think the 350 would do just about anything you asked of it, but loaded up for a dual-sport ride I think I personally would want more grunt. This coming from an XRR owner too so bear that in mind.

I guess it just depends on your personal stable too. Kurt has a 690 so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for him to have a 500 as well. He wanted a s/t ripper, not necessarily a do-it-all machine...

    Thanks Brad

The 350 does sound great, but I think I will hang on to my 525 a while longer.
