I'm up for that too. Barely legal and rock-hard half-worn tires.

Did anybody do anything? My internet went down. I could read the thread on my phone, but I couldn't reply. Ended up cutting a tiny trail on my property and riding in circles.

Wish I had found this thread before now, I just spent 2 weeks in Memphis, would have liked to meet some fellow riders.

Split my time at the Hyatt on Ridgeway and Willow Lake industrial complex over on Raines St.

Went down to Beale St. a couple of times, ate alot of good food.

On the other hand did not want to get lost after dark in most parts of the town. But did enjoy most of the time I was there.

Will probably have to go back in November for another two weeks, maybe I'll get to hook up with some of you and you can really show me the town.
Wanted to get to the Husky shop over close to the airport but never got off before 5:00 pm. I want to look at a TE 610 badly.

I grew up in Tupelo but had never been to Memphis.

    This Thursday August 21st !

I am going to do 7:00 Thursday the 21s at Deli Mexicana in Gemantown. Right on Germantown Parkway next to the Wolf River across from The Chik-Fil-A.

The Dempsey's are playing at the downtown Huey's this Sunday (August 24th). I plan on dragging a few ADVers down there are well.

The only way to see a new Husky at Fletcher's is in a brochure. They don't keep any new motorcycles in stock over there. The ones they have on the floor, I don't know if they are for sale or customer's bikes.

Yeah, I stopped in there one time. I have heard he has a great reputation as a repair shop, but no Huskys on the floor. I probably would have bought a Supermoto from him in 2005, but I bought the KTM instead.

I doubt if he will be keeping his Husqvarna dealer status now that BMW owns them. Maybe the guy in Collierville will pick them up.

I have a friend who has his xr650r in his shop getting a motor builit now. THey seem to be very knowledgable, but do not keep much of anything in stock.

Which place in Collierville are you talking about?
