Doesn't give you much of a ride since you're in Bartlett. What about the Boilling Point in Southaven. Cajun food and reseasonbly priced.

Anybody else doing this Sunday? TNridereports.com appears to still be down. This place is right off of the MS section of the TAT. I may get my wife to drive me to the line and ride the gravel there.

    MiniTrail,

Did you make it to the event? I had some stuff I had to do this past weekend so my bike never left the stable. Post some pics if you can!

I did go. It was fun. The trail was pretty hard for a noob trail rider such as myself. I do regret not trying the big hills, but they had me wetting my pants at the time. I really hate crashing. There was also a stream crossing that really needs a bridge or a log or 15 minutes with a bobcat. I am glad they didn't run the race there on that same route.

I had a great time. I wish I had known there was stuff to do Saturday and I would have brought a mini bike and my tent. What is the deal with all of those trails on the gas line? Is it cool to ride those? I see those gas lines all over but I have never seen them with so many trails. My next D/S weekend I think I will ride out there and at least check out those clay roads.

The place where the deal was held at is inside of Holly Springs Nat'l Forest. Officially there are no trails anywhere in HSNF and any riding in the forest totally illegal. Dave, the owner of the land we used last Sunday would prefer anyone he knows or is associated with to not ride in the immediate arear around his land so that the forest service will not give him an unnecessary hard time about it. He told me that the FS folks had accused him and his riding buddies of using his place to illegally acess the forest. The locals on 4 wheelers made all those trails and are subject to being ticketed if they are caught. It looks like alot of trails but is probaly less than 2 miles, don;t ask me how I know.

Thanks Jack. I guess you have heard by now that you left before they could make you jump those tires sideways and throw your bike into that ravine.

I broke my Camera in KY and all I had was this p.o.s on the ride. This was the "playoff" round for everyone who tied in the trials events.

It took the bike about 45 seconds to fall that far.

    Hey MiniTrail

Hate that I missed ya at the "Tri Duro Race" I was working the log that you had to ride up (Obstacle #5).

Hey Josh_Tn I just got back yesterday from riding around the West side of the lake. I have all the GPS files from that ride and also from the East side ride we did this spring. I havent ridden all the way around yet but I am up for it just say the word.

We met. I had the KTM 400 with the cobbled-together GPS mount. You tried to talk me into riding the log, I chose the RR tie instead. I really don't regret it.

Actually a friend and I are gonna try it next weekend. We were gonna camp out on Fri night and again on Sat night. I have some GPS coords that I got off of a thread that JamieZ put up. So if any of ya'll want to come along you're welcome to. We are gonna be breaking in his new motor so we won't be travelling at warp speed or anything. But should be fun.
