Dude, you're from Jawga and you're still getting all the clues...... maybe ya need to be in CSI?
Just in case no one noticed Justin added the clue. Also to make it interesting, to tag this one you need 2 bikes & they have to be from different households. Kind of a "tag team" event.
Yall post up if you need more hints...not trying to make it hard...just interesting. A different angle pic may help too.
And try to have two bikes from different families to promote comradrarie, but dont let it stop you from tagging....you just get double points...4x if you all have a ADV sticker.
(i guess some one needs to go through and set up the points)
"rules" i thought, i heard we don't need no stink'n rules
sorry i couldn't resist
Kind of like our tag..... a Kawi and a Suzuki. Different households.
We're on board!
Yeah, I think the next tag I grab, I'm going to make a rule you have to ride a Yammie to snag it...
<<< me next to Mark and Gloria...
We could make a V-Strom only photo tag game.
Did I misread...dont see any "rules" mentioned
We can make an exception for Red Bud, since he was hot on our tail to the other tag.
No rules, just trying to make it a little interesting. And bikes from different manufacturers don't count as different households. That is more like "kissing cousins"!
If you are from the south you know what I mean.
Directed to Jamey_Z as the original poster and moderator of this thread but for everyone's input.
Not making a rule...but thought about suggesting a 1 point value for each Tag found to add a little competition to and motivation to tag and maybe Jamie could keep a running tally on the first page of those that participate?
OR maybe everyone is having fun as is and just ignore this?
Need anymore hints on last Tag?
Shhhhh.... Bill and I have it figured out. I've just got to get over this crud so we can ride over and take the pic.
I've never really been a fan of points, despite my tongue-in-cheek joke about an your ADV sticker in the OP. I did look at a number of other photo tag games around the country before I posted this one to see how it worked, or what didn't.
Of course I'm open to input too, but so far it seems that the tags in this game have already been fairly competitive, at least within a small group of folks. What I'd like is to get more people and people from farther away more involved. I could be wrong, but it seems like keeping a tally could discourage new and casual participants because after a while they wouldn't have a chance to catch up.
Points may also have the detrimental affect of encouraging quantity over quality. I've seen that happen in geocaching as people rush to get their find count higher and higher. A disproportionate number of new geocaches are places in really dumb places just so people can find them fast and easy and get another point on their find total.
Posting a collage as I've done is intended to encourage people to want to see their own photos and photos of interesting places. Even a new guy will get his photo in the collage--though I can already see that very soon the pictures will become too small to be recognizable. I'll have to come up with a solution for that.
I've also thought of making a map; sort of a tracklog of the places the tag has been. That might require too much bookkeeping though.
If someone wants to make a case for keeping a point tally, I'll listen, and there's nothing that says someone can't post the numbers themselves.
Your the OP...sounds like valid points to me! Your right its still fun as is...Suggestion is withdrawn
OFF WITH HIS HEAD!
Y'all asked... I enjoy the fact that some days when I don't have someplace to go but I want to ride, I can go tag a photo. I don't need points or complicated rules to make it interesting. I just need someplace to head toward and my bike. If I want to invite someone along, I will. If not I won't. Jamie did a great job of setting up something simple and fun that I can share with my best riding mates. My opinion is don't cock it all up by making me have to think too much.
Thanks, no reason to"cock it all up"
Never heard that terminology....sounds made up? Trying to make it catch on?
ROFL, wish I could take credit. I've heard it used mostly as British slang--we watch a lot of British comedy in our casa. http://www.britslang.com/2009/10/cock-it-up-will-you/. A quick sparring match of Google-Fu reveals it has many, many colorful incarnations.
Ready for hint yet?
I might be. I don't recognize the place (I don't think it's the raptor center at Shelby Forest) and after some Googling, I've come up empty.
