    Hey Chris,,, do you have a chromer you work with. The current shop I'm using has destroyed parts on me in the past,, ie. turning nice round objects into multi facetted junk and burning through windshield frames. Kinda sucks when they do it to 70 year old antique boat hardware.

    I can't really say that the guy's I've used for chrome in the past could really be trusted with rare stuff. I don't know of anybody in this area that I'd trust with anything that was hard to replace.
    What are the windshield frames made of???

    Windshield frames are brass. 75% of the stuff I deal with is brass, 20% stainless steel and 5% german nickel.

    Maybe may next job, I'll contact you and see if we can work something out.

    We could always polish the brass! That shit looks waaaay nice when polished, as I'm sure you know. SS comes up beeautiful also.
