    Same here, every wheel I have built or had built needed the be checked and adjusted after the 1st ride after everything had seated in. In my pre ride/race inspect and prep work list checking the spokes is there after checking the chain. Even if the wheel has been in use for a while I still check it for peace of mind before I hit the course. It's not just my life but my brother's and the lives of my team mates.

    Yeah, and I did think to do that after some shakedown riding back home before I packed the bike up. Wasn't too bad then, but that was under 100 miles of easy dual-sport riding, not 500 miles of Baja.

    As it turns out Baja is hard on bikes :lol3 who woulda guessed it.

    Won't make this one but planning on making it to the Tri-state enduro the week after. I have a 3rd place trophy from that one to defend :evil

    Of course now I hear there are a couple of ringers from VT in C-senior class so I might not do so well.
